We’ve been coming to the Wooden Nickel on and off for the past 20 years. It used to be a go-to spot for incredible prime rib—something we genuinely looked forward to whenever we were in Crested Butte.
Unfortunately, that’s no longer the case.

We stopped in at 8:30pm on October 5th tired and weary from a long day of hiking. Even though they were closing at 9pm they treated us like we were the first customers of the day. Highly recommend and next fall we will definitely return. PS. The food is outstanding.
