Cucina Bella Denver Reviews
I love this place! Fresh food, absolutely delicious, friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere. Beyond 5 stars!
BEST MEAL EVER! 🙌 This is seriously the best Italian restaurant in the state. Family owned, family-run, with the nicest chefs and staff around. The chicken Parmesan is to die for, the fusilli pollo is insane, the peach bread pudding dessert… decadent. Did I mention the tiramisu and fungi pizza? Gah I love that calamari too. Pretty much eat your heart out, ‘cause it’s all SO good. (Brunch, ya that’s good too). I’m obsessed. This is our FAVORITE spot. ❤️

Cucina Bella, located on the east side of Denver, is a neighborhood gem known for its Italian cuisine and cozy atmosphere. The restaurant has a homey feel and is not a chain, making it a special spot for locals and visitors alike. Inside, the ambiance is relaxed, with classic music from Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra playing softly, creating an ideal setting for easy conversation. The staff is friendly and attentive, contributing to the warm environment.
The food here is delicious and offers good value for the price. Favorites include the spaghetti bolognese, which is enough for two people, and dishes like the Eggplant Parmesan, praised for being perfectly cooked and smothered in the restaurant’s famous tomato sauce. The menu features a variety of options such as apps, salads, mains, pasta, pizza, and calzone, with many dishes like the calzone and pasta arrabbiata being enjoyed for their generous portions and tasty flavors. Customers also appreciate the homemade cocktails, like the Hugo's and Limoncello Martini, which add to the enjoyable experience. The restaurant’s extensive menu and friendly staff keep guests coming back.
Starters like garlic bread bowl with red sauce, calamari, and fresh salmon are highly praised for their freshness and perfect cooking. The Mista salad and Caesar salad are also popular choices. For dessert, the Peach Budino — a homemade peach bread pudding with cinnamon — remains a delightful treat. The wine selection, including Pinot Grigio and Nero d’Avola, complements the meals well.
Despite its small size, Cucina Bella offers excellent service and a cozy, inviting atmosphere that makes it a neighborhood favorite for a relaxed dinner or night out with friends.
