We were looking forward to eating here as Dragonfly has received a lot of positive press. We ate lunch around 12pm on a Saturday. We ordered:1 Duck BaoChar Siu Rib RamenYaki UdonThe bao bun had good flavor but came out cold. The ribs tasted boiled and were super tough. The broth tasted like lemongrass water. The Udon meat tasted as if it were poor quality. Veggies tasted fresh, but the whole dish overall was super greasy.Only hot sauce/ chili sauce available was Siracha. The restaurant walls were splattered with food and our table was quite dirty.Service was friendly and accommodating.Would not recommend.

Had the spicy miso soup ramen and Taiwan duck bun.The bun was a wee bit too sweet for my liking, but the rest was on point!Spicy miso was a flavour bomb and a great way to start your afternoon.

The service was wonderful but everything else was disappointing. The ramen I ordered was excessively salty and not flavorful. The menu on the website claimed it would come with cloud ear mushrooms, but instead it came with chunks of shiitake. There was a lot of visible debris between the wall and the surface of the booth I sat at.

Very poor customer service for gluten free customers we will not ever be back. We asked for our ramen gluten free and they said they would have to charge us for another dish plus they also do not have refills on iced tea without additional payment. Also, The last time my husband and I ate at this location he had stomach issues but we decided to give it another shot and again he had issues. They must really be struggling to not remake a dish for a customer with an allergy. It ruined our night and we ended up having to cancel our plans and dine at another restaurant while still having to pay here lol. Also, they don’t serve anything but cold sake and beer no wine at all

5 stars for the lobster boa ALONE. I'm from Georgia so I would have like the Thai tea a bit sweeter. lol but overall it was delicious

I finally ordered takeout ramen from here last week, after walking by this place for months. The online ordering is pretty easy, I ordered the Black Tonkotsu, and added in a soft egg. The order was ready ahead of the time that they quoted me (5 min early), and the woman that packaged up my order and handed it to me was super friendly. Onto the ramen - it was ok - with generous portions of cherrywood smoked pork belly and noodles. It also had black garlic oil, fried shallots, spicy sprouts, mushrooms and scallions. The tonkotsu broth was a bit on salty side, and wasn't as dynamic/flavorful as I was expecting. Overall, it was good, but not a standout by any means. I'm glad that I finally tried it, but not sure that I'll be back.

Staff was super helpful meeting my needs of GF and vegetarian. Unfortunately, the broth and overall flavor was disappointing. Meh. Very bland and rather expensive for a bowl of soup.

I came in today with two friends for the first time and was pleasantly surprised at this spot on 16th Street Mall downtown! The layout was nice - you order and pay at the counter (there was no option to tip which blew my mind, didn't have to sign anything or hit 15%, 18%, or 20% while someone is staring at you), and the food came out pretty quickly (maybe 10 minutes tops). The lady at the front was nice - I said I'm not great with spice so she recommended the Miso Happy and getting the chili oil on the side. The heat was perfect for me and the pork was super tender. In my opinion the noodles were too al dente. The mushrooms in the broth were super flavorful! Will definitely come back here (but won't be in the frequent rotation because hey ramen is expensive). Very solid ramen and looking forward to trying other bowls.

I came in for a hot bowl of noodles on a cold day and was rewarded with this wonderful shop that makes their noodles in front of you and provides you with homemade quality you can taste. The personnel are super friendly and make you feel right at home.Got the black tonkotsu and I could taste the distinct love and care that went into every aspect from the hand sliced pork to the mushrooms to the complexity of the broth. An absolute gem on 16th Street approved by someone who was instantly reminded of Japan after finishing a bowl at the bar.
