About Former Saint Craft Kitchen and Taps

Former Saint Craft Kitchen and Taps is a restaurant located inside the Hyatt Regency CO hotel. The atmosphere is peaceful and upscale, featuring a nice design that enhances the dining experience. The food is fresh and tasty, with a kids menu available. Guests have appreciated the cozy private booths and attentive service, including the excellent service from staff like Nada, who was friendly and went out of her way to ensure a great experience. Visitors have enjoyed dishes like the Easter Brunch, which was praised for its variety and quality, despite some hesitations about it being a hotel restaurant. The menu includes favorites such as taco pastor, which received positive comments, and the chocolate Cherry Cake, which was a highlight. Some dishes, like ratatouille and chicken, were occasionally overcooked and dry, while the Bison Prime Rib was tasty but lukewarm. The scallops were chewy and not as fresh as expected. The entrance to the restaurant could be confusing, but once inside, the experience is a mix of hits and misses. The restaurant offers different settings for different groups, making it suitable for guests hanging out with friends or meeting colleagues.

The breakfast buffet is quite basic and a little more expensive than some places, but the service is quick and the atmosphere quiet and spacious. Recently, the buffet partnered with the Colorado Speaker Series has been described as heaven-sent, with varied and yummy choices at an affordable price. Guests have enjoyed a nice wine and cocktail selection, particularly during dinner before a show. The service remains great and very attentive. Bartender Todd has been recognized for making good cocktails and being friendly. The mashed potatoes side dish with a fried egg yolk on top has also received a recommendation. Overall, Former Saint Craft Kitchen and Taps offers a welcoming environment with good service, making it a solid choice in downtown. Guests are encouraged to check out the Peak Lounge on the 27th floor for additional views.

Server was good a little hands off but I honestly prefer that so it was no issue but Unfortunately the walnut pesto chicken was insanely bland my girlfriend got the scallops which were honestly pretty good considering scallops aren’t my dish of choice..... as basic as it sounds the Cheese curds really were delicious there’s no denying that but I’m just glad I kept the sauces to add to my chicken not a bad experience by any means I was just honestly surprised in the lack...read full review

We went here for a large party pre theater. The food took FOREVER to get there - when it did get there it was cold. The manager then proceeded to argue with the one individual’s food that never was delivered. He had the nerve to tell her not to “talk to him like that” - given that she didn’t even get her food- that treatment was uncalled for. By the way she is a 70 year old lady!
