We had never been here but love speakeasy's and I can't begin to say enough for the quality of staff, drinks, and atmosphere. This place has it all. We just recently heard that this place will be closing permanently because of a Developer for the Larimer square area changing that space. What a loss this will be an really can't imagine going back to Larimer square for anything else. You must stop by before this happens. It is an experience you will not want to miss out on. Thanks to the amazing staff. You really made out night of celebration that much more amazing.

Convenient location. Nice decor inside. Gives the 1920s vibe. I felt slightly judged when I said I was the only person in my party. I was not offered a table and was immediately taken to an uncomfortable seat at the bar. Drinks were good but slightly overpriced. I ordered brisket and it was lackluster, especially considering they're inside a smoke house. Food was warm, not hot. Large portion/shareable.

Green Russell is under Latimer Street and often has a wait for a table or bar seat. The wait is well worth it. The drinks and service are both incredible. Even if you don't like the cocktails (or mocktail) on the menu, the bartender will make you something custom if you share the spirit and flavors you like. In June we visited in celebration of my mom who passed away 12 years ago. When we mentioned it would have been her birthday, they made me her favorite drink and wrote her name on the top of the drink. Just incredible and a moment I'll never forget.

The staff at the front are not nice...they just need to calm down. They were going to make an 87 year old grandmother wait in the lobby because her grandson was stuck in traffic. We live in the neighborhood and will not be back.

Found this place by accident and it's in my favourites list now! This is a speakeasy from the prohibition era and is kept as is - very different vibe from what I've see at most other bars! Dim lit ambience with comfortable seating. Staff was super friendly and nice.I got the Clover club and husband got the penicillin - both so good. We also got the brisket biscuits - very buttery and the brisket was well smoked and flavory! They also have a smokehouse next door and the food comes from the same kitchen- definitely want to try the bbq place. All in all - great experience and I absolutely recommend! Coming back soon :)

Such an awesome cocktail bar! Our waitress was super knowledgeable about the drinks. A great spot for date night or meeting up with a small group of friends. It’s also the only place I’ve seen where there are as many non alcoholic cocktails as there are alcoholic ones - so cool!

We had an amazing time! Bartenders were entertaining and skilled, the Pork Belly bites and mac n’ cheese delicious, and the off-menu bourbon cocktail and the Breakfast Old Fashioned were the tastiest cocktails! We will be back!!

I had a party of two and we arrived right at 5pm on Saturday 7/30/22. They kept telling us 5 or 10 more minutes before they would let us down the stairs. They turned away 4 other parties. When we finally got down stairs to the hostess, it was weird. We did not feel welcomed. We were the first seated in the bar. The bar then filled up with about 8 other parties. We ordered our drinks but right away. We watched nearly every other party be served while we sat there. We finally just got up and walked out. This did not feel like a welcoming place to us. Disappointing experience all around. Terrible I came from New Orleans on a vacation trip. I love to try cocktail bars to compare to what we have back home. I hate that I did not get to experience this one. The place looked great but did not seem to have it together or even want us there.

I stopped in for a cocktail on my way to the airport. The atmosphere was swanky and amazing. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about cocktails. I had the fruit basket it was very refreshing. My only nit pick was that the drinks were a little pricey, I paid 20 dollars for one drink.

Finally! My friend and I got dressed up and came to Green Russell before our fancy dinner at Rioja. We were escorted downstairs (speakeasy-style) and sat at the bar. Dim lighting and sultry mood, just the way we like it. Bartenders were great. Much more casual than most speakeasies I've visited in Denver, but I like their unique vibe. Menu was a little overwhelming. Can't remember ALL the drinks I got but definitely had the Fruit Basket cocktail ($16) with silver rum, chartreuse, midori, mango brandy, charred pineapple, and egg white. YUM!! Kinda tasted like Lucky Charms in a cup. Music was a little loud, but so are me and my friend. Definitly worth the trek to Green Russell if you've been putting it off.

Used to be a cool spot for cocktails. Now it's unbearably hot and smelly in the speakeasy. Cocktails are meh.

I celebrated my birthday here with family and friends. The staff, cocktails, and service are outstanding! The thought and research put into the cocktail creations as well as the quality of traditional cocktails is the perfect combination and very well done. I'd like to acknowledge a drink I had called "Hawaiian Rollercoaster" that was by far one of the best tasting, well presented and unique drinks I've had. Kudos to this creation and the mastermind behind it, JP!
