We had never been here but love speakeasy's and I can't begin to say enough for the quality of staff, drinks, and atmosphere. This place has it all. We just recently heard that this place will be closing permanently because of a Developer for the Larimer square area changing that space. Green Russell is under Latimer Street and often has a wait for a table or bar seat. The wait is well worth it. The drinks and service are both incredible. Even if you don't like the cocktails (or mocktail) on the menu, the bartender will make you something custom if you share the spirit and flavors you like. Found this place by accident and it's in my favourites list now! This is a speakeasy from the prohibition era and is kept as is - very different vibe from what I've see at most other bars! Dim lit ambience with comfortable seating. Staff was super friendly and nice.I got the Clover club and husband got the penicillin - both so good.
