The bread is delicious. We tried sourdough, ciabatta, marble rye..all were good. Service is a little slow, so plan on waiting as there is usually a line. The potato salad and coleslaw were good.
The aroma of bread being baked brings customers in. Service is always 100% outstanding. Ordered ahead online, there is usually a long line. This is a busy deli for good reason. The food is excellent and fantastic and they're really nice people. Coffee is far better than Starbucks. Really enjoyed the chef salad too.
I was amazed by a simple sandwich today. It kind of takes a lot to amaze me if you are a sandwich. Instead of that floppy, transparent super thin nova scotia smoked salmon you get at the supermarket In the flat pak, this generous sandwich had a nice big piece of freshly smoked salmon fillet on the sandwich, warm, on freshly baked sourdough. Real fish, not that overprocessed stuff. Wild horses couldn't keep me from going back again and again for that. There is more to discover...
