Awesome pozole, great drinks, reasonable prices. No margarita mix - only the real stuff!

The food was great however, their service was some of the worst I have ever experienced. Me and my table would have servers constantly walk past us and nobody would attend us. After being seated we waited for over 10 minutes until we asked a worker near us if we could put in a order for drinks and food. The food and drinks came out fast but nobody checked up on us after or even offered refills on drinks after they dropped off the food. The restaurant was not busy at the time and the employees were innatentative to their tables and were chatting with eachother in a corner over by their kitchen. The cooks did a wonderful job at preparing the food its a shame the staff working the front are mediocre at their job at best.

I was only in Denver for a day and a friend highly suggested that I make a stop at La Diabla.... I high very high expectations and they did not disappoint! The decor itself is something worth experiencing and the taco's were truly amazing! Definitely going there next time I'm in the area!

THE BEST tacos I have had in a very long time, possibly ever. The staff is very friendly, the space and the bar are really cool. The Jamaica agua fresca is the best agua fresca I have ever had. Highly recommend the Pollo En Pipilan tacos, probably the best corn tortillas I have ever had, and the green mole is amazing, perfectly spicy. I will definitely be back for the margaritas as well.

Check your balances and keep a receipt

I went in for happy hour. I had one cocktail it was $14 had two tacos that were five dollars each got the bill was around 30$. Their tip suggestions are 20% 22% 25% but I tipped 15% off just the total not tax and service fee for the kitchen because I was only there for 15 minutes and my debit card now has a $52 charge on it from this restaurant. Get a paper receipt check the totals because this is the second time this has happened. They are stealing

I’ve been coming here for a while. Food is always good. Honestly, service can be a bit spotty, especially when they are busy. Lilly is great.

After last night, though, I will hesitate to return. I came in for some drinks and tacos and was having a nice time chatting with my friend until a server that had not been taking care of us came up to the table, interrupting our conversation with, “are you ready to close out?”. No “can I get you guys anything else?”, or “are we thinking about dessert?”, or a simple “how’s everything going over here?”. We had only been there about an hour, ordering steadily, the restaurant was not busy, and there was still an hour before the restaurant closed. Taken aback by the abrupt nature of the question, we closed out and left, feeling like we were unwelcome. From one service worker to another, I would highly encourage the server to explore the aforementioned alternate questions above before jumping to “are you ready to leave?”.

I don't know why this place isn't rated 5 stars. The food has so much flavor! It was amazing. We just moved here from Texas and both my husband and I were looking for some Mexican food and this place did not disappoint. Our service was very friendly as well. We'll be back for sure!

I have tried this place a couple times now and at first I would recommend it to my friends. Now, after this most recent experience I’m not sure. The food was good but not something left to be desired. My friend and I had the tasting of the moles. The service was so slow… we got water about 20 minutes after sitting down.

The moles themselves were okay, I have honestly had better mole negro elsewhere. I settled on the mushroom one as that one piqued my interest and taste buds. After our dinner we were waiting on dessert as that was included. We waited for more than 30 minutes for that and had to tell a waiter. They acknowledged that they had forgotten and gave us a discount. Well after that they still took a little longer and by this time we had to leave. After five minutes we finally got our ice cream to go. To our surprise it was vanilla… the menu said that it would be strawberry. Truly just disappointed.
