La Reyna Azteca & Breakfast offers great food and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is friendly, attentive, and quick. Popular dishes include the smothered breakfast burrito with sausage, huevos rancheros, and relleno plate. The restaurant has a 70s-80s vibe with old decor, a stylish roadhouse diner with bright orange, leather booths, and a long countertop. It has been redone into a family-owned Denver Aztec/Mexican restaurant. The breakfast menu is superb, and there is an extensive lunch and dinner menu; tortas are a special focus. The green chili was remarkable, and the chorizo was quite authentic. The chips and salsa are served with a unique salsa that is loved. Enchiladas were delicious and still a little bit crispy. The breakfast burrito was huge. The red and green salsa had good taste. Omelettes were a hit. Pumpkin cheesecake was very very delicious. Menudo was delicious and only served on the weekends. The atmosphere is an awesome old school diner vibe. There are vegetarian options like veggie green chile, veggie tortas, veggie omelets/bowls, and salads. There is a kids menu and cartoons can be an option. There's a ramp with designated parking to get inside easily and there's also areas to be accommodated.
