“Saturday night takeout sharing the Meat lovers platter with a side of stuffed grape leaves. The kabobs were beautifully done, and not overdone. We’ve been to Turkey before and this place is legit- right down to the silky hummus and quiet pickled veggies scattered throughout the yellow rice.“

“This place is so delicious! I couldn’t stop thinking about the food long after we left. It’s authentic, tastes delicious and is very reasonably priced for the amount of food and quality of food you get. The service is on the slower side (waited 30 min for these two dishes) but I don’t mind waiting if it’s going to taste amazing as it did. I can’t wait for my next visit!“

“We went to Shondiz last night for dinner and it was excellent. We were served barley soup (ashe joh) when we first got there and it was the best I ever had. I ordered mast-o-mousir to start and it did not disappoint. My husband ordered zereskh polo with chicken and I had the juheh kebab. Both meals were great. The owner Mohammed came out to talk to us and he was really friendly. We will definitely be back!“

“This is one of my Denver favorites so far. The falafel is so moist and crispy. The lamb kebabs are super delicious and grilled perfectly. The rice is really flavorful with sumac dripped on top of it. The samosas are some of the best I’ve ever had. It reminds me of a slightly higher end and better quality halal truck back east. Its also one of the most reasonably priced restaurants I’ve found since getting here.“

“Hdden Gem Alert: Incredible Shawarma Inside a Convenience Store!
I have to admit—I was skeptical at first. A shawarma restaurant inside a convenience store, with mixed reviews? I wasn’t sure what to expect. But after trying their Chicken Shawarma Plate and Beef kabob Plate, I can confidently say this place blew my mind!
The beef was incredibly juicy, moist, and generously portioned. Both came with yellow rice, crispy fries, and fresh tomato and lettuce chops, making for a hearty meal. Each was around $12.99 . In Colorado, Mediterranean food can be pricey with small portions, but this spot gives you tons of food for the price—definitely a great value! Note: If you need pita bread and hummus, you must order it as a side. Not included with the plate.
I couldn't find any tables or chairs inside(not sure). I ordered online beforehand, which made the experience smooth.Did pickup. The store itself isn’t the fanciest, but don’t let its appearance fool you. If you want to try Mediterranean food without breaking your bank, in this economy, check out this spot.
Would I come again? Yes.
Would I recommend it? Yes“

“I was in town for a week for a conference at the Sheraton and I went to Pita fresh 3 times! There are a lot of great local places on 16th street, but I kept coming back for their delicious and comforting meals. Their pita bread is soft and sweet and really good and only 99¢ for an extra one. Great hummus and kind staff. Thanks for a great week of lunches Pita Fresh!“

“My wife and I had dinner here for the first time the other night and were quite pleasantly surprised with the quality of the meal. Fresh Ingredients, great texture on the meat, friendly staff, and a clean restaurant took this fast casual dining experience up a notch. Shout out to the staff for taking pride in their work and getting the fundamentals right. Quality spot, would recommend.
Vegetarian options: Had the honey sriracha Falafel. Was quite tasty“
