Quality has gone out the door now using regular hotdog buns. Hotdogs do not snap when you bite into them and raised the price for lower quality food. Time to find a new place.

My girlfriend lived in Chicago for a few years, I myself from STL (no idea why you wouldn't put ketchup and mustard on your hot dog), Mile High has been on her list for a long time, finally tried it last night. As far as authenticity goes, it's a Chicago hot dog lol. Besides the no ketchup thing, it's quality, prices are a little steep, for 2 Chicago style dogs, a basket of fries and a junior italian beef, my total was almost $40. Dogs were delicious, Italian beef was a little bland, fries are bomb! Inside is filled with Chicago sports memorabilia, pretty cool place is you're craving a Chicago dog

Authentic Chicago in the middle of Denver, I recently visited Chicago great city and tried all the food there …….. But I can’t tell you how genuine and true Mike High Vienna is to its roots, from the fresh baked bread to the sliced Italian beef, fries that were close to shoe string size but definitely had a kick of crisp! I Definitely recommend, the Value and Charm Wrapped all in one!

Meh. Super bummed this wasn't great. We ordered 2 Chicago dog combo and a single chili cheese, cost was around $30. We asked for no tomato on the chicago but they also left off the pickle for some reason. Aside from the onion rings everything else was super flavorless, even the mustard didn't really taste like anything (not sure how that's possible?!). The chili dog barely had any chili on it which was disappointing especially since it was over $8.

I found my Chicago dog spot here in Denver!! The Dawgs are amazing! Snappy like they should. No ketchup on the dawgs! All mustard with that amazing pickle! Please come and show this place some love especially if your from Chicago you will live be the sports memorabilia repping the windy city! Also have a great happy hour food special! Sunny the owner is on the register ready to make you some Dawgs!

As a connoisseur of Chicago Beefs, I was excited to try this spot in Denver. It did not disappoint. Too often in this town when you order a beef dipped wet, they look at you sideways and give a side of au jus like it’s a French dip. Not here. The beef was appropriately dipped wet and the bun held up from start to finish. The sandwich had a hearty portion of beef. Fries were solid. This won’t be my last visit. #WAF

Here from Western, New York for our anniversary, and my hubby was craving a Chicago dog. We were steered in the right place !! Found this place purely by luck one day! I grew up inner city Chicago (Milwaukee/Pulaski/Belmont) and finding a true taste of Chicago in the middle of Denver was an awesome find! I can tell you from experience, this place does it right. From the bread to the beef, to the sweet/hot peppers…it’s all awesome! You want it wet? They get it right! The fries…order them well done and you wont be sorry. Thanks again Sonny! We WILL be back again!

We will definitely be going back!! Awesome is the only word I can use to describe it! Have I said AWESOME!I've read other reviews and those that aren't impressed who say they're from Chicago...are probably from the suburbs and are Portillo fans. I grew up on Milwaukee/Belmont/Pulaski area, so I KNOW what a good beef is.THIS is the real deal.

Great way to get your Chicago fix while living in or visiting Denver. Great customer service, very clean restaurant and the only reason I lowered the food to 4 stars is because of the bread for the Italian beef sandwich which fell apart immediately when I tried to pick it up….glad I didn’t order it dipped. I know, it’s tough to get good Chicago Italian bread here in Denver so it may not be their fault. The food was delicious tho and I’ll definitely go back.
