I am trying to make sense of an average rating below 4.6 here: I think any time you do something innovative and experiment, someone's not gonna love it. Several of the schmears and bagels are a stretch out from the typical, but I found so far That they've all paid off brilliantly. Plum Jam was creative and interesting, and I would get it again. Whitefish and Salmon Roe were great. I didn't find the bagel dry-er than a typical bagel? Nothing in this neighborhood...
Not of lot of seating, but whatever it is what it is. Got a plain bagel with scallion cream cheese. Is incredibly tasty. Very crunchy bagel with chewy interior. Maybe I should have gotten the lox or the pastrami lox some time? But worth adding to the list.
i LOVE this place -- the open kitchen is so cool and you can watch the magic happen while you wait for your bagel.
get the open face sandwiches 100% so yummy. I've tried the lox, nova lox, and the plum jam. The lox are to die for - i haven't had a bad time yet. An awesome neighborhood spot just get there early so you don't have too long of a line!!
