Excellent spot for tasty Italian food. The service here is great. The prices are fair for the quality of food. Feels like a place in Los Angeles I liked.

No menu on your website. What are you hiding? Not showing up somewhere without knowing what they offer. It's not 1980..

We had dinner with a big group (10) of friends last week. That food was very delicious but the service was poor. The restaurant was not full, but the staff was not very attentive to our group. Hopefully with some management & guidance this place will improve! Such a great location, but over the last couple years it's been a revolving door.

My wife and I went out for our anniversary tonight and decided on Palizo. We are both from NJ and since moving to CO 7 years ago have been searching for good Italian restaurants. On the east coast good Italian is everywhere so it strikes us as a bit odd that it's pretty hard to find in CO. After making a reservation on OpenTable for 8PM we arrived right at 8. The hostess quickly greeted us and was really personable and made us feel comfortable all while letting us know our table wasn't yet ready. The restaurant was VERY busy so we accepted and understood. We asked if they had a bar; yes but it was consumed by a private event, but she gave us cocktail and wine menus so we could order while waiting in line. Good enough for us!!! We ordered drinks and they arrived after 15-20 mins but she conp'd they to us which was extra nice and uncalled for (sort of). Another 10 mins went by and we got seated. Total wait of about 30-35 mins despite our reservation. Server came by and was also great. He helped us choose our meals, bought some wine, etc. overall service was fantastic. We ordered the smoked ceaser salad and bread ($3 for 6 fairly thin slices??? Isn't this an Italian restaurant???), the pasta with clams in white wine and garlic sauce for our first course and the Shrimp Gambertti and Chicken dishes for mains. Ceaser had good flavor but had a lot of very wilted leaves. So much that we asked the waiter who confirmed it was from the smoking process. Seams strange that the head chef would decide to smoke the salad even though it meant serving wilted old looking Romain just to get the smoked taste. And I didn't really taste any special smoked flavor. Nice dressing though. The bread tasted nice and fresh and had a little olive oil sprinkled on the cut bread but IMO not enough. Would be nice to serve it with butter and/or Olive oil to give choice to us. Pasta with clams in Wine and garlic broth was bland. The actual pasta was fantastic and delicious but the broth lacked of flavor and was bland. Need to use more wine, less clam juice and maybe more butter or oil. Basically a more condensed sauce. The garlic and shallots and actual clams were nice though. Wife was happy with the shrimp dish. Very nice presentation and overall a nice dish. The chicken was also very nicely presented. The mashed potatoes and veggies were great. The chicken was overly salty (and I like salt). Nicely cooked though. We also had a nice wine that the waiter recommended. No dessert for us though. So overall the dinner was hit and miss. Some dishes good and some not so good and leaving us wanting more. The service was fantastic and the place is really cute and cozy. Not sure if I'll go back yet. It wasn't cheap, which I don't mind for a really great meal, but this wasn't that. I know they were slammed tonight and they did give us free drinks to compensate, which was nice. But the meal was just meh and we waited for 30-35 mins despite having a reservation. Seems like they're still a new restaurant but they've been around for a year? I think if they sorted the food issues out that I'd have been much happier. Hopefully the chef will note this feedback and adjust.

Can I give 10 stars? Food phenomenal every time, excellent wine list...but almost more importantly to me the service is awesome every time. I can't thank the staff enough for making the experience I have there special every time.

Went in with high expectations due to their google reviews. Sadly this place was a major disappointment.

We had an excellent salad, delicious bread, a charming waiter, and an absolutely amazing lasagna with all sorts of mushrooms and carmelized onions. The restaurant is also very nicely decorated inside and out. Everyone was super friendly...we loved it!

Man, where do I begin? Popped in here at 730 on a Thursday night and were the only two people there (should have been a warning but hey, I'm a glass half full girl). Bread, at an italian restaurant...3$? Seems like it should be free but hey, what do I know. I think in the end, they grabbed some Wonderbread at Safeway and served it up to us..definitely not the "in house specialty" we were promised. Rolling into the second course, we opted for a simple Caesar salad. Their fridge must have been turned down to a polar chill, because our lettuce was brown, limp, and actually gave me a bit of a brain freeze. I'm not sure how it passed quality assurance, but we were already in too deep. In a ditch effort to save myself, I ordered the chicken. Safe bet right? Trying to find the words, I'd say it was like chewing on a rubber bouncy ball. Unclear if it was over or undercooked...I didn't investigate further. To top this all off, something catches my eye above my partner's head on the wall. I see a small fly crawling up the white brick (no biggie), only to be pounced upon by a spider the size of a quarter! The food, I could handle...the arachnids, I must draw the line. Giving it a second star because the servers were lovely and the gnocchi was tasty!

The service and atmosphere was nice but the food was very bland. My wife and I left underwhelmed and headed straight home to eat some leftovers from a different restaurant.

I've had this place on my "To-Try" list for a while now. My wife and I had an opportunity to visit recently when we were in the area before a concert. The decor was very nice, and the staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, that is as good as it got for us. They were out of coke so my wife tried the unsweetened ice tea. She was presented with one option of artificial sweeter. When she asked for regular sugar she was given large cubes that wouldn't dissolve. I ordered the soup of the day - butternut squash. It was okay. My wife ordered the caesar salad. She didn't like it at all. I tried her salad and it was below average in my opinion. My wife thought the the lettuce looked old. We ordered the bread (it was extra). The first attempt the bread was mostly burnt so we requested another order. When we finally received it, it really wasn't that good either, particularly for something you pay extra to get. We both had the Pappardelle for our entree. Apparently they have two sizes - medium and large. However, our waitress didn't ask us what size. We both ended up with the large which was a very good quantity though pricey. The noodles were very unique and good. However, the sauce was fairly tasteless and was so much it almost made the dish a stew/soup. It took more than an hour from the time we were seated to get our entrees. Because we had a hard deadline with our concert, I finally had to go request our entrees. Unfortunately, the delay caused us to be late for the concert after we had tickets for it for months. The price of this evening was just under $100 for a caesar salad, soup, an order of bread, two entrees of Pappardelle and one ice tea. If some part of it would have been amazing, it could have been worthwhile. Unfortunately, it was a really poor value for what we received. Hopefully others will have better experiences than we did, but I don't think we will return to try it again.

The food was amazing. The service not so much. Luckily we were in no hurry, but had to wait for wine because "sommelier lost keys to cave" then no plates, napkins or silverware when appetizer arrived and were not able to order dinner by that point either. The worst part of all was end of night, we paid cash and definitely needed change. We left the check with cash out and waited. Our server picked it up and came in and out multiple times with no comment that she would bring change, we were there last people on the patio. Eventually we asked if change was coming and excuse was again someone else's fault. Finally, another 20 minutes later, we got $35 in mostly $1's and about 15 nickels(no joke). All in all, the food was great and we'd go back again and just hope the service is better.
