Pete's University Park Cafe is a consistently good, locally-owned cafe in the Denver University area with a Greek slant. The gyros salad, gyros omelette, and breakfast burrito are popular menu items, known for their large portions and delicious flavors. The Denver omelet was well cooked and a large portion, and the potatoes were good. The service is fast and friendly, and the staff are friendly. The space itself is divided into two rooms, giving a less crowded feeling when full. While some customers found the food to be basic, the overall reviews suggest Pete's is a great choice for a satisfying breakfast or brunch. Parking can be difficult much of the time, but was readily available at 7 am on a Sunday. Pete's did not disappoint, with great food, good service, and pretty decent value.
