One of our favorite restaurants in Denver! The mushroom hummus and muhamarra are our favorite dishes. The fried eggplant is also great but could do with a thinner layer of goat cheese. One reason why we love this restaurant is because the servers are fantastic. Many restaurants have great food but poor service because the restaurants get too cocky. But Safta has remained humble and we appreciate that.
We really had a great time. The appetizers and hummus dishes were excellent, and the small plates were just as good. We especially loved their house-made pita bread. Of all the dishes, I preferred the small plates over the mains. The foraged mushrooms were amazing! I’d definitely go back next time I’m in town. Prices are a little high but worth for the quality of food.
Excellent dining experience from start to finish. Impeccable service. Well-curated menu of middle-Eastern staples and delicacies, presented with an attention to detail worthy of note. The depth of flavor packed into each dish was a true culinary delight.
