Sesame Sandwiches is a new and welcoming restaurant that offers a variety of delicious and unique sandwich options, including the popular Saigonese cold cut banh mi, the flavorful pork roll and curry chicken salad, and the recommended sticky pork. The friendly staff, fast service, and reasonable prices make it a great addition to the neighborhood. The shop is small with a few stools inside and sidewalk tables, plus a fridge for grab-and-go items like macaroni salads, potato salads, spring rolls, chips, and drinks. The bahn mi sandwiches are a standout, with creamy tart sauce and chewy bread that’s not too crispy. Though the space is tiny, the food is great and affordable, perfect for a lunch break or picnic at nearby City Park. Sesame is now open some evenings until 8pm.
