Tacos are okay. Drink selection is pretty good, and they have some pretty good tequilas on

During my recent visit to Tacos Tequila Whiskey, I was thoroughly impressed with both the exquisite food and the exceptional service from the staff. However, I was surprised to see an additional charge labeled 'Kitchen Team Appreciation' on my bill. I deeply value the effort of the team behind the dishes and support the notion that they deserve proper recognition. Nonetheless, I believe the responsibility for ensuring fair compensation for kitchen staff should fall directly on the restaurant's management, rather than through extra charges passed on to customers. This practice creates an uncomfortable situation for diners, who are also expected to leave a tip for table service. I think it would be more appropriate for the restaurant to adjust their meal prices to include any additional costs, thereby guaranteeing fair compensation for all their employees without unexpected charges on the final bill for customers.

Great tacos and drinks, but it gets crazy loud in here, they have too many seats at the bar and it’s so cramped, and the share table behind the bar is set way too close to the bar seats so people are constantly banging into each other.

We ordered 4 separate tacos and all were premade and served cold! We complained to the mgr and she said they are having growing pains being they closed another location. She offered us a free drink next time we are there! There will not be a next time! No wonder the other location closed! This one is next if they cannot serve a hot taco! We will not be back!!!

Small venue with not enough seating. We had a long wait which would be fine if the food and drinks were with it. Chips were stale and taco shells as well. The margaritas were carbonated and not very good. The tajin salt mixture had celery salt in it and made the margaritas even worse.

We went to this place because they were on the Denver eat + drink pass. The coupon is for $11 towards an appetizer with the purchase of 3 tacos. When we finished eating, the server wouldn’t honor the $11 coupon because our appetizer was $12… so instead of doing the logical thing of charging us for an $11 appetizer and having us give them $1 they just didn’t honor the coupon. Our server also didn’t get our order correctly or check on us when we were eating so we never got a water refill unless we flagged someone down. The pork belly taco was gross and they added a 5% kitchen tip for gross tacos and bad service. All around terrible experience and a $60 lunch that should’ve really been more like $30 for the experience and quality.Update— I appreciate the response from management, but still confused why your computer issue became my problem and something we ultimately paid for. If your restaurant is openly participating in a program to offer discounts for people to come try your food, why would it be my responsibility to cover for the restaurant’s technical limitations if your computer won’t process it? Wouldn’t it make more sense to notify people with a sign that your system isn’t working correctly, or offer to come up with a temporary fix for your customers until things are sorted out?

Delicious food! Orders are a plate of small tacos that are best shared. If you go with a group, it's difficult to split a check, but the food is delicious!

The absolute definition of "it's fine". I've had better tacos from gas stations in El Paso, TX, and any place in Las Cruces, NM. Atmosphere is good, but you get charged an insane amount for what are pretty basic tacos that aren't that great.
