Wash Park Grille was closed due to tax seizure, according to the sign posted at the front door. This wasn't noted on their website or Google when I checked before trying to meet a friend there.
Closed down!!
Closed for unknown reasons.
Just opened back up after being shutdown by the government. Lousy food, horrible service and no live music as advertised. This looks like the end for Wash Park Grille.
Service good, food pretty average. Restaurant could use an upgrade tired looking. Parking tough.

Wow, the Tax Man closed WPG 4th December 2024 at 2pm for FAILURE TO PAY THEIR TAXES? How many people did WPG just unemploy because Management refused to pay their tax bill???? Seriously. Hope they find a sugar daddy soon and reopen this Gaylord St icon.

The service was horrible. We saw our server maybe once every 20 or 30 minutes, it took forever to order, to get our food and even to pay. The atmosphere is just bad. Dark, dingy, smells like a mixture of wet wash clothes and cleaning solution. The food was mediocre at best.

Parking was a nightmare. Food was way overpriced for quality. I had pumpkin gnocchi. Although the flavor was good, the food was very dry. 27 dollars for dry food was too much for my taste. Service was good and was a pleasant atmosphere but I wouldn't return because of the food.

Food was great, service was great. Giving 4 stars because the high chair had a broken buckle, there's only changing table in the women's room, and that changing table is physically too high up for a shorter person to use.
Kid-friendliness: Not great for people with a baby

Great place for a Sunday brunch. Visiting family and friends in Denver and was recommended to this cute place. We were there early, just before it was open and had no issue finding street parking, but it did get pretty busy as the day went in. Food is delicious, and the service was attentive and excellent.
Started with lettuce wrap with chicken and grilled shishido pepper. For entree, I had the steak and eggs, wasn't all that hungry, but I ate everything because the steak was made to perfection. Super tender (medium rare) and testy.
I highly recommend this place and would definitely come again when I am in Denver.
Parking: Free street parking, since it is located in a residential neighborhood it will be kind of hit and miss on finding parking. But well worth the effort.

This has been a great little find. We've always had a great meal and the service has always been good. Just be prepared for your typical Denver Street parking and be aware of the parking/permit signs in the neighborhood.
