My visit to Stranahan's whiskey distillery in Denver was an absolute highlight and easily earns a full five stars. From the moment you step onto the property, you're enveloped in a palpable sense of passion for their craft.

The tour itself was incredibly informative and engaging. Our guide Ryan was not only knowledgeable about the entire whiskey-making process, from grain to glass, but also infused the presentation with genuine enthusiasm and humor. You get an up-close look at the stills, the barrel-aging warehouses (and the incredible aroma that comes with them!), and truly understand what makes Stranahan's distinct. They clearly take immense pride in their American Single Malt, and it shows in every detail.

And then, of course, there's the tasting. The opportunity to sample their range of expressions, including some that are not readily available elsewhere, was a real treat. Each pour was a testament to their dedication to quality, offering nuanced flavors and a smoothness that even a seasoned whiskey drinker can appreciate.

Beyond the whiskey, the atmosphere of the distillery is fantastic. It's a welcoming and well-designed space that invites you to linger. The gift shop offers a great selection of spirits and branded merchandise, perfect for taking a piece of the experience home. Also, they have a whiskey lounge so you can have a drink after the tour!

“Have to say, came in for a quick drink, and I felt so much at home! Joe was a sweet tart, truly fantastic. Everyone was great, but I can't say enough about Joe! If I lived in this neighborhood, I'd never leave, but I'll tell ya what, I'll def be back!“

“I usually am not one to leave reviews… but after driving 6.5 hour from Albuquerque my husband and myself had a hankering for an old fashioned. Of course, this establishment popped up! Let me tell you, they were delicious! While the crowd wasn’t what we were expecting the bartenders on this Friday evening outing made up for it in leaps and bounds. We will definitely be back in the future to chit chat with those lovely ladies behind the bar.“

“We’ve frequented this place for to go orders since staying here and I love the hummus flight. Tonight we had the filet and the salmon dishes and both were absolutely delicious and top notch quality. Service is excellent and very welcoming. Their menu and drink menu is great and has a nice variety, including nonalcoholic beverages for those of us who can’t partake (pregnant here!). Would absolutely recommend dining here if you have the chance, the quality is that of much more expensive restaurants surrounding and is much more reasonable. Thank me later!“

“This place has seriously become my favorite hangout in town. My family and I love the pinball pub. We Always have a good time. Great patio space, lots of games for everyone to enjoy. Great food. “If you are in the area and want to try something a little different from the places on Main street, check this place out! Drinks are amazing with the classics and several uniques ones on the menu as well. The food, decor and service are great. I am not sure how often they have live music but we caught a show here and the sound was surprisingly good. Parking is easy and close by but if you are in downtown Littleton already you can walk there and get away form the crowds in downtown Littleton.“
