Zaidy's Deli & Bakery Reviews
Zaidy's is a favorite after-church brunch spot for several choir members. It's a convenient location close to church and the food is always good, even if we have to wait. We tend to be a large party most of the time!
Great staff!
Sometimes feel rushed but food is delicious
I was searching high and low for latkes and was thrilled to find them at Zaidy's!! They were delicious and the strawberry jam unique and I will be ordering more in the near future. The bakery goods were amazing and I will be purchasing some of those as well when I return.

Zaidy's Deli & Bakery offers high-quality, delicious food in a friendly atmosphere. The lox sandwich and iced coffee are recommended, despite the slightly higher prices. Customers appreciate the family-friendly and welcoming vibe, with complimentary baked goods adding a nice touch. The restaurant is often compared to famous delis in NYC, making it a must-visit spot for those craving authentic deli cuisine.
The restaurant is a true classic, described as a delicatessen/diner, one of the few left. Favorites include sandwiches, omelets, and salads with good portions and consistent quality. The Reuben, both traditional and with latkes instead of bread, is a standout dish. Customers also enjoy the complimentary pickles (dill and garlic) served at the table. Many visitors mention the large portions and friendly service, making each visit enjoyable.
Zaidy's has been a true Denver staple for over 35 years, offering fantastic deli and bakery items. Customers recommend trying the Potato Latkes, Challah French Toast, and the Denver's Best Reuben. The hand-cut fries and Lemon Coconut Cake are popular choices as well. Some reviews mention that the bakery treats, like the Kentucky Butter Cake, can sometimes be drier than before, but freshly baked cakes are still enjoyed. The restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch daily, with options to stock up on market goodies like bagels, soups, and desserts. Customers find the atmosphere fun and the food fresh, though it can get a bit loud at times.
