An awesome place.
This is an oasis retreat with the greatest views near the Continental Divide.
I love the friendliness of everyone working and serving hot food. I love the old wood fireplace that has wire and clothes hangers to dry your gloves! The views are crazy great!!
The place to stop for lunch, a rest stop, and relax before hitting the slopes for the rest of the day!

Ptarmigan Roost offers fantastic Green Chili at a very reasonable price, with amazing views right off the Ptarmigan chairlift. It features a cozy cabin with a fire at the top of the Ptarmigan lift, making it a convenient and less busy meeting spot. The warm fireplace and snacks make it a perfect place to warm up during the day.
