Our second time visiting Pug. The food is not great. Four of us on this visit and three of us did not like our dinner. I had the fish and chips. Their fish is obviously made for people who don’t like fish. I peeled all the half cooked batter off of it and the fish itself wasn’t bad. Service was average this time (terrible last time) and the atmosphere is typical for a brewery, except this isn’t a brewery, as they don’t brew anymore……..
Food is very good but service just ok.
Had none of their own beers something was broken and only had guest beers so could not do a real rating on their beer. $17 for 2 smallish pretzels which were very basic not much taste. Good mustard and beer cheese. Favorite part was our waitress Rebecca, so sweet and nice. Felt bad we couldn't stay longer was a quick app and on way.
Pug Ryan's Brewery offers a beautiful marina location with fair prices compared to similar establishments. Guests can enjoy a delicious menu featuring crispy wings, fish tacos, shepherd's pie with lamb, harvest pie, and bacon-wrapped jalapeño poppers. They also serve excellent margaritas and Sapphire Point lemonade. The brewery has received positive feedback for their green chili fries, which are hot and flavorful, and the crab cakes that are very good. The food menu also includes Ahi Poke Tacos, which are light and refreshing with lightly fried wontons. Service is generally friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming, making it a nice spot to enjoy a meal while watching the sunset or attending a concert. Some visitors noted that fries can be soggy, and burger quality varies, but overall, the place maintains a great mountain town vibe with reasonable prices and a cozy atmosphere.
