The vibe is cool for a small town. If you are in to local beers this is a place for you. We had the peanut salad which was good but it needs some acid to elevate the flavor. The clam chowder is unique. It’s thick and not too thin, just different. Would be a fun place with a group of people. Service was attentive.
Durango is one of my favorite Colorado towns. It is surrounded by mountains, water wildlife and amazing food. Animas brewing company provides excellent food, along with a host of their own local brews. Located along the Animas river and walking trail, provides a peaceful ambience to your meal. My original review was mid, but we've been coming here periodically for years and the quality of food, beer, and customer service has gradually improved to the point where this is one of our favorite places. The Class VI IPA is excellent, and the pasties (pass-tees) are delicious, like a calzone or fancy hot pocket.
