We have visited the Bakery several times whilst on holiday visiting family in Rangiora. It has a wide selection of bakery items/breads/cakes/cakes etc as well as a restaurant selling a variety of meals to suit all tastes. First floor has a viewing area to watch the Bakers at work and a play area for kids.
I was imagining we'd find this place to be a typical small town bakery, with the usual sandwiches, pies and fried food. Very pleasantly surprised that Artisan is a much larger more professional and more pleasant place, the kind you'd more expect to see in a larger city. We are NC locals who like to support local businesses & have visited Artisan Bakery on a number of occasions. IF you can get a park that is!! The cabinet bakery selection is pretty good, strangely tho, you don't normally sell plain croissants for a coffee from there! I wonder why... Anyway, please don't microwave croissant .. it is fatal for them!
