“We happened upon this place while traveling through Durango. What a gem in the picturesque downtown area! The food was outstanding. We tried The Italian which was so flavorful with just enough heat without overpowering your taste buds. The Reuben was also delicious and just the right level of messy. The best part was meeting co-owner Colin, a fellow KC Chiefs fan! If you're in Durango and looking for good eats and a Chiefs Kingdom-friendly spot, this is the place! “What a great evening,we had awesome appetizers, wings and Chicken nachos. Great margaritas and ice cold beer!! They had Dave Mensch performing and the service was top notch!! I highly recommend it. The owner came by and talked to us and thanked us for coming in. That’s how you know you are in the right place. “I rolled in looking like a dog's dinner after driving 8 hrs. I'm sure they thought I was a hot mess. I was graciously given a table for one and had an amazing dinner. The green chilie stew was rich and hearty ( I grew up in NM and it's flavors were true to form..smokey green chilie, just the right amount of cumin), spinach salad with grilled chicken added was perfect. It was not drowned in dressing and the chicken was perfectly grilled. The wait staff was attentive. Thank you for welcoming a silver-haired, solo female traveler. Much appreciated.“

“Ordered breakfast to go--the southwest eggs benedict, which was really good (we only wish there was more egg with it), which came with a SOLID portion of really good potatoes, and a delicious coffee cake. Helpful staff, too. Maybe not the coziest place to sit in compared to the lodge nearby--I recommend to-go.“
