Amazing food, service and relaxed, upbeat environment. Food quality on par with Eolus but without the pretense and with wait staff who were friendlier and more informed about the food.
Pretty good spot! I'd go back.
Low key, small establishment. A bar when you walk in, some tables in the back and upstairs. A handful of different oysters available and a short but good seasonal menu. Good people working here.

A transplant from Seattle, this place brought tears to my eyes as the memories of Hood Canal came rushing back. The oysters and ceviche were phenomenal. The brininess and freshness reminded me of shucking oysters when the water receded in Washington. I will come back from Denver for the memories.

Oye Oysters and Small Plates is a low key, small establishment in Durango with a bar when you walk in, some tables in the back and upstairs. The food quality is on par with Eolus but without the pretense, and the wait staff are friendlier and more informed about the food. The environment is relaxed and upbeat. A handful of different oysters are available along with a short but good seasonal menu. The oysters and ceviche are phenomenal, with brininess and freshness. Oysters, ceviche and calamari are all excellent. The clams in a green chimichuri are delicious. Outstanding wines include Lambrusco to start, then Vouvray, and a great wines-by-the-glass list. The service is great and personal, and the owner is a lovely and genuine person. Outstanding quality at a reasonable price point. Tourists and locals that appreciate quality at sane prices will love this place. It is worth a shout.
