The brisket is excellent, with perfect texture, good smoky character, and the option to get cuts of just the flat or the point. The pulled pork is moist, flavorful, and tender. Other standout meals include the MOBY with brisket, the torta, and the potato salad, which is dilly and creamy. The patatas bravas are outstanding, soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. The grit/jalapeno balls are exceptional, and the beans are perfect. The vibe is low key and feels like a legit barbecue spot, with funky art and an outdoor patio. The owners are friendly and have a clear excitement for their craft. This is high quality, homemade food for a great price. It is a must stop place when visiting Durango. There is a reason they sell out almost daily, so getting there early is recommended.
