If there was a way for me to rate them a 4.5, I would.
The photos that were included about their food really help us try them out. We were going through town and visiting for the first time there. Their pictures made the meat look better than the other bbq options. Visually, more like the Texas BBQ; what we’re used to. Taste wise, I would compare it to Kansas City bbq

Cute little place. I ordered take out to bring back to my hotel. Got the Big Papa Bowl with brisket (as recommended) omg. Amazing. So glad I went there.
Really great spot. The homemade food was awesome, I loved the sides (def recommend the cheesy grit balls), and I was somehow able to eat a bunch of BBQ and feel amazing afterwards. The care that goes into everything really comes through.

Based on reviews, SUP - Craft BBQ in Durango offers exceptional barbecue that rivals the best in Austin. The brisket is excellent, with perfect texture, good smoky character, and the option to get cuts of just the flat or the point. The pulled pork is moist, flavorful, and tender. Other standout meals include the MOBY with brisket, the torta, and the potato salad, which is dilly and creamy. The patatas bravas are outstanding, soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. The grit/jalapeno balls are exceptional, and the beans are perfect. The vibe is low key and feels like a legit barbecue spot, with funky art and an outdoor patio. The owners are friendly and have a clear excitement for their craft. This is high quality, homemade food for a great price. It is a must stop place when visiting Durango. There is a reason they sell out almost daily, so getting there early is recommended.
