“Very tiny Argentina style restaurant on Santa Fe . Small menu executed perfectly. I came in an hour before close & ordered the flank steak sandwich. Only one in the restaurant and only the owner it seemed. He directed me to my side sauces and started cooking. At first glance i was questioning myself. Steak looked under-portion. But i dove right in and boy was i wrong. Wedges blanched and cooked to a perfect crisp . Sandwich was amazing. Bread soft and very tasty held every bite. Add the chimmy its also delicious. Again space is small but well kept . Looks clean inside . Very much recommend. Super tasty stuff coming out of this little building“

“I was not truly alive until I had these empanadas, I tell you! They were so good, I ordered them for my whole office a few days after ordering them for myself. Every single one was gone within an hour or so, and everyone came to tell me how great they were!“

“I ordered a pick-up order. The order was ready on time and was piping hot. The Empanadas were spectacular, and the dough they use is phemoninal !! The reason for 3 stars on service is that the person was distracted elsewhere and dropped the cookies, and they were broken in the bottom of the bag. Overall, I am highly satisfied and so happy with food. Parking at the Broadway location is not good and hard to find a spot close to the shop“

“This was one of 5 stops on a Denver food tour and it was delicious. Never would I have thought I’d eat an empanada with raisins but it added a sweetness that definitely had me wanting more. There was ample seating and complimentary water. Love that they posted the recipes on the wall as art so you knew exactly what you were getting.“

“I ordered 3 empanadas. Ground beef (which I was told was the most popular), ham and cheese, and steak quesadilla. My favorite were steak quesadilla and ground beef. They are slightly smaller than what they appear so it is a bit pricey for the size but it’s located in downtown Denver (very walkable from hotels in downtown) so that could be why. Either way the Empanadas were good and the staff was friendly! If you have time there’s a seating area at Denver Pavilion’s near Lazo’s which is a great place to eat your empanadas. :)“

“Tried Lazo Empanadas for the first time this morning, and ordered a spinach empanada... My gosh, it was so savory. The filling was flavorful and delightful and the crust was crispy and flaky. I am certain that I will crave these in the future and will definitely be back.“
