I really enjoyed my experience at Maria Empanada- very cozy atmosphere , good house wine, tasty deserts and good food- the one thing is that I found the sauces to be bland, and wish they had more spicy options.
This cute little empanada spot is to die for. Food is amazing and fresh and never disappoints me. Been coming here for years and crave it more than I'd like to admit lol. You can't forget to try one of the desserts and the fresh squeezed orange juice ?. I spent over $40 but I needed to indulge since I don't live in the area anymore. Lovely cafe, peaceful and comfortable. No loud music, and the patrons weren't loud either. At least at the time I went. I was expecting most of the empanadas to be sweet. The spinach empanada was great, I will be ordering it again, and the coffee was excellent.
