I asked for a Coors Light — and bless them, they poured it into a glass. Not a mason jar. Not a frosty mug. A glass. Clear, cold, straight from the tap. It hit exactly as advertised: like a liquid apology from the state of Colorado itself. Not fancy. Not ironic. Just beer the way it was meant to be — fast, cold, and consumed within earshot of a pool cue smacking chalk-dusted vengeance into a corner pocket.

The pool table in back? A survivor. Sloped. Slightly angry. You don’t line up shots so much as negotiate them. The regulars know the lean, the light, the curse words that help. Play at your own risk.

And then there’s that patio — a stone slab of outlaw luxury with a direct line of sight to modern America in four acts: bar, busy street, walking trail, lake. You sip your drink with traffic howling ten feet from your skull, joggers panting past in the distance with Bluetooth ears and haunted eyes, and beyond them all, the lake — shimmering like a lie you almost believed. There’s peace out there, if you squint past the madness.

Five stars. No flair, no plastic in your wallet. Just glass-poured salvation, a battered pool table, and the best damn view in the city. The Lakeview Lounge isn’t for everyone — just the lucky few who know exactly where to sit and what to order.“

“Fantastic bartenders atmosphere a little bit loud for carrying on a conversation but all the drinks looked amazing and you can bring the food in from the food area and enjoy yourself while you’re having whatever cocktails air conditioning isn’t too bad. I would like to see it a little bit colder butit’s a very open area so I think that’s why it’s a little bit warmer than I think it should be for as hot as it is but definitely it must come and check it out.“

“The cocktails were amazing and so was the service. The burger came out somewhat raw when ordered medium. It was sent back and new one was better and comped. Fries were sweet (not a fan). Apple crumble tasted like baked oatmeal with apple and bland. Overall, go there for drinks and ambience and service but be mindful about the food.“

The amazing bartenders and staff offer great service that perfectly complements the delicious and tasty food. “There are some really good Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurants in Denver: Glo, Ginger Pig, Mister Oso... Hop Alley didn't live up to the hype for me. Everything was good, but not great. The service was fine, and I appreciated the food coming out quickly, but the pace felt rushed. The cocktails were weird twists on bar classics, and we've had better Chinese food elsewhere in Denver. Overall, really glad we tried it, but we'll be sticking to our preferred staples in RiNo.“

“My boyfriend and I came here because we had a Groupon for a flight, cocktail, and distillery tour. It was awesome! The tour guide, Andy (I think that was his name) was very personable and down to earth. He had some good jokes/puns. The bartender was sweet and we met the owner briefly. We each chose different liquors for our flights and enjoyed each one plus our cocktails were great. My personal favorite for the flight was the V.I. Rum. After the tour we also got the maple bacon old fashioned which was different but equally delicious. Everything on the menu looked great and while we didn't try any of the food offerings, we will definitely be back. The bar was an intimate setting and the pinball machines were great. We live in Aurora but we can't wait to come back as this place is definitely worth the drive for us!“

“I have seen two amazing shows here, the servers and atmosphere are amazing. The main show and the reason to keep returning is the fabulous and funny host Selene. The burlesque performance of Six was absolutely amazing. I saw the musical a few weeks later and found myself missing the storytelling and historical comedy that Selena provided. It's what brings the whole story, music, personalities, and performances together. I would see Selene's version of Six many many more times over the 'theatrical' version. Costumes are also amazing and the performances are impressive and stunning. I especially love the acrobatic chair performances!! I can't wait to go back!“

“Easily my new favorite Kava/Kratom bar! My girlfriend and I were driving by and decided to pop in and check the place out on a whim. Very happy we did! The atmosphere is great, everyone's very friendly. They have pool, darts, board games, and a videogame console loaded with thousands of retro titles.
