Ice Cream Shops near Empire

“Amazing milk shakes!! After dinner in Georgetown my friends and I were looking for a sweet treat only come to find out the 2 ice cream shops in Georgetown were closed! But - Dairy King was opened and just a short drive away! The staff were friendly and FAST! All 6 of us got shakes and each one was so amazing! Perfect sweet treat after a hot day!“

“We were up in the Georgetown/Idaho Springs area for the weekend. We were trying to waste time before dinner, so we started looking around the little shops. Ended up in here and saw they served coffee and tea. Ordered a couple of teas, and asked the guy working there for some suggestions on what to do to waste time. He told us to stop by Alpine Restaurant because they have some pool tables and arcade games, and also to go up Guanella Pass to Clear Lake. Neither of them disappointed! We decided to pop back in on our way home from our weekend getaway to get a couple more teas, hot chocolate, and an apple cider and to tel him thanks for his suggestions. My kids said their drinks were made with love. Thanks again!“
