Their food is amazing! I had the Carmel Pecan Apple Pie….pretty sure it’s the best apple pie I have ever had!
I used to love this place years ago. I hadnt been there since May 2024 so I went there the other day just to find out they dont make my favorite kinds of pies anymore and overall the experience fell way short compared to how it used to be. No more website to order from. no more recipie sharing, and no more Harvest pies. It was disappointing.
Current and perspective customers beware! The purpose of this negative review is to bring the new owners' poor business practices to light.
These owners decided to discontinue the previous owner's practice of making wedding cakes and then informed everyone with a contract for a wedding cake that it was cancelled...via mass email. This email, sent in May, stated that someone would contact customers individually and promised to refund deposits in full. As of today, July...read full review

You Need Pie! Diner offers great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. The very bestest in Estes, this diner has fair prices with great portions and amazing flavors. Breakfast includes the best chicken fried steak, egg, sausage, and Texas toast. For lunch, the Club sandwich is hot and delicious, with good waffle fries. The pie is even better—try Chocolate cherry pie, which is smooth, silky, but not too sweet. French silk, apple, strawberry rhubarb, and blueberry cheesecake pies are also great, not too sweet, letting the flavors shine. The staff is kind, friendly, and on top of it. The waiter was awesome. Employees are tentative and courteous. The bacon on a BLT was under cooked, and raspberry cheesecake was not very good, but cookies and cream cheesecake was amazing. Trivia plays on the big screen, and customers never feel pressured to leave. Great for a yummy treat and trivia. Two little kids wouldn’t stop eating. Will be back very soon.
