“After eating at soooo many high-priced restaurants around Estes Park, and pretty much loving every place we visited, but trying to eat at as many as possible before returning home, we hit this place the NIGHT before we left. Mostly because it was the only place still open and very close to where we were staying at Valhalla Resort. WHAT A HUGE MISTAKE!!! WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN EATING HERE ALL ALONG!!! The Elk Burgers melted in our mouths, the onion rings and mushrooms were spot on and plentiful, and the late-night service was polite and speedy!! Don't waste too much money eating at all the other places. Our only regret was not trying these guys first, as I doubt I would have eaten ANYWHERE else after dining here!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!“

“We made our own charcuterie board, and did some wine tasting, and were not disappointed! My favorite wine was the sweeter rosè, the truffle jack cheddar was spectacular, and the rattlesnake pheasant sausage was a show-stopper! Albert, the owner was very kind, helpful and sociable! We enjoyed learning about the winery, the history, and all that he’s done since becoming the new owner!“

They have so many unique flavors of whisky and vodka to try out as well as a variety of other sauces and treats! Glad we found this place when visiting Estes Park!“

“We had our wedding reception here for 37 guests and it was absolutely perfect. The space was a great size for eating and dancing. The food was great all around from apps to dinner to dessert. They even stepped up and made some things for us that they don’t normally do after our cake and dessert table got cancelled 3 days before our wedding. The staff is beyond nice and helpful. There’s even a patio out back with cornhole and seats for people who don’t like to dance. Would recommend for any small event or reception!“

“Nice atmosphere and excellent service. Our server was attentive and did a great job throughout the meal.

The food was a bit hit-or-miss for me. The elk sausage appetizer was excellent and probably the highlight of the meal. However, the restaurant's famous meatballs were underwhelming. They reminded me of something you might find in a frozen entrée and needed extra seasoning or hot sauce to bring out much flavor. The bread pudding, while good, wasn't particularly memorable or worth the hype.

I understand Estes Park is a tourist destination, and higher prices come with the territory, but the overall food quality didn't quite match the price point in my opinion.

That said, the building has a lot of character, the atmosphere was enjoyable, and the service was top-notch. We were there just before the live music started, so I can't comment on the noise level once the band got going.“

“Absolutely lovely coffee shop in the heart of Estes Park! The staff is always exceptionally friendly and helpful. They sell many nice postcards, pens, journals, arts and crafts, and gifts. The upstairs seating balcony is so cozy and clean. Most recently, I ordered a breakfast burrito and a latte. The cashier who rang me up brought my food up to me while I was seated in the upstairs balcony. I always notice and appreciate when people go above and beyond when they have no obligation to do so. I very highly recommend supporting this local business!“

“Second visit to the barrel. First time had a great local band playing. Second visit was for Mother's Day weekend. We love the great beer selections and food truck options. The outdoor patio is quite large and had a corn hole game area. If it gets too hot, plenty of indoor seating including high top tables and picnic style table. There are pool tables and TVs. Best of all, dog friendly! Bartender was busy but so fast and efficient. Water / cups are self serve. No waiting! Bathrooms clean and decor was fun!“

“I recently saw a facebook post with someone inquiring about a mug purchased in Estes Park. Details followed revealing a replacement could be found at Raven's Roast. The mug was beautiful and I knew I needed one for myself. This brought about one of the best customer service experiences I've had in a very long time. A few messages, a couple phone calls, and just two days later the mug was in my home. It is even more gorgeous than the photos promised and now holds my perfect cup of tea every evening. Thank you, Raven's Roast staff. I am your newest fan.“

“Last visit to Estes Park was 6 years ago and Antonio's was recomend after a hike to Flat Top Mountain..would travel back from central Texas just for a slice.“

“We had driven all day and quickly dropped our things off before heading to town for food and drink. We lucked into a prime parking spot. Got to the back to find a table in the pub area. We discovered no table service but an outstanding young employee stepped up.
We had maybe the best pizza I've ever had. The crust, imo; could have been a little more done but it could not have tasted better.
Toppings were quality and plentiful. Sauce was delightful as you taste it but its not overbearing. The crust has a hint of sweetness and the cheese is melted perfectly among the meat, onions, mushrooms etc. Oh and the salty olives... yum!
If I lived here this would be on a regular rotation!“

“The food is delicious. You get more than you can eat. One guy sitting across from us said it was the best chicken fried steak he had ever had. I ordered blueberry pancake. More blueberries than pancake. The last time I had a pancake like that was in Maine!! The owner is nice to her employees. We come here every time we are in town.“
