“Mack saved the day for us here - the guy working the bar was grumpy and we were confused as to why nearly every beer was a guest tap. Mack engaged us on our way out and explained everything, and even gave us samples of one of their actual beers so we hadn't left without trying something they brewed. He was great and we will return to try their beers once they're producing again because of him!“

“The meats are incredible! They smoke all their own meats with a smoker that runs 24/7. They even have a backup generator in case of snow. The wings were delicious, buffalo sauce wasn’t too spicy. The pulled pork was nice and they had lots of sauces to choose from. The brisket may have been the highlight. It was melt-in-your mouth tender and so flavorful that I didn’t even want sauce. Obviously I have to mention the brews! All beers on the menu, except the non-alcoholic beers, are brewed in-house. They have $15 flights with small pours of five beers and you can pick your own! The pilsner and kolsch are both very light and refreshing. The IPA’s aren’t too heavy. I wanted to try the milk stout but the weather was too warm. The servers and bartenders are very knowledgeable and very friendly. There’s a large outdoor space out back, great for kids playing and exploring. The back is also dog friendly! Food, atmosphere, service, this place nails it all.“

“My husband and I grabbed coffees and a breakfast burrito from New Moon this morning before we hit the long road home. The space is clean and cozy, and the staff are very friendly. I had an iced crème brûlée latte that was absolute heaven, and my husband had an iced americano which was delicious as well. The real star though was the bacon and egg breakfast burrito! First of all, it was huge! Stuffed with eggs, bacon, melted cheese, guacamole, and pico. My husband and I agreed that it was the best breakfast burrito we’ve ever had. We look forward to visiting this spot the next time we visit Nederland.“

“We love that there is a local option for a stellar brewery in Gilpin County! We took two half growlers home and my husband (the wordsmith that he is) came up with the idea that you should call them “The Howler” Much ❤️ to Howlin Wind 😘“
