Just got festival, fried plantain and j*** chicken from Ricky. Was so excited to meet a fellow Jamaican out in Falcon and the food did not disappoint. easily the best festival I have had in YEARS, it was So crispy and the flavour was spot on, same for j*** chicken, the smokey flavour was great. The plantain was delicious and the twists Ricky puts on his food with his salsa and pumpkin rice were great too. I am so excited to have this again next time I'm in the area!! ??????
I’ve had the blessing of Ricky’s food for close to 3 decades, since his dinners at the wildflower cafe. I can say with certainty that he understands the secret ingredient to cooking in all respects. You can feel the love in every bite. If you want to fill your belly and your spirit I highly recommend you treat yourself and support local any chance you get.
