“This historic original Coors tap house is one of the greatest bars and restaurants in Denver, tucked away in the very hip Highlands neighborhood. The amazing bartenders and staff offer great service that perfectly complements the delicious and tasty food. The menu is absolutely mouth-watering, from the house-made pork rinds and tavern tots to the delicious pastrami. My personal favorite, though, has to be the green chili stew.“

“Warm nicely finished woodwork provides a welcoming historic atmosphere. Our experience was 100% on their patio which is a leftover COVID make-shift tent with zero ambiance however well protected from the weather elements in the unlikely event there’s a bad weather in a place with 300+ days of sunshine. Burgers and sandwiches are tops with your own table try of condiments provided. Drink selection is extensive and mixed well along with a wide variety of good beer choices. Service was great though we were pushed to leave far too quickly without even a mention of dessert even though they were well aware that was our visit purpose nor a apology they had no dessert or cup of coffee. Atmosphere inside historic and warm, outside no more than a camping tent. Food - Excellent sandwiches and burgers. Service- Good though pushed to leave very quickly. Price - Average.“

“When I have friends stopping through town on the way to the slopes or even a convention, I usually take them to Avanti. They’re gonna see the mountains, usually have a day or two planned to explore them. I think it’s nice to showcase our city skyline and the view of downtown from the spacious upstairs bar and patio. The city lights just glistening at night from that vantage point… The food court features local eateries and usually covers every flavor for a lunch or dinner palette. The vine list is refreshing... parking does stink on weekends because the area is so popular. It's got a lot of screens to watch games or open seating to catch up with friends.“

“So solid! I asked the bartender for two surprise me’s and she did not disappoint. I had the ring my bell (a drink I never would have chosen for myself) and the ginger leigheas. Both were so good! “My boyfriend and I came here because we had a Groupon for a flight, cocktail, and distillery tour. It was awesome! The tour guide, Andy (I think that was his name) was very personable and down to earth. He had some good jokes/puns. The bartender was sweet and we met the owner briefly. We each chose different liquors for our flights and enjoyed each one plus our cocktails were great. My personal favorite for the flight was the V.I. Rum. After the tour we also got the maple bacon old fashioned which was different but equally delicious. Everything on the menu looked great and while we didn't try any of the food offerings, we will definitely be back. The bar was an intimate setting and the pinball machines were great. We live in Aurora but we can't wait to come back as this place is definitely worth the drive for us!“

“Came to East Fax Tap for the first time to watch the Eagles game and will definitely be back! It’s not the fanciest sports bar in Denver, but the people are what make this place special. The owner personally greeted me when I walked in and continued checking in throughout the visit, which made the experience feel incredibly welcoming.

Even though it was crowded, the other patrons were some of the friendliest people I’ve come across at a bar. It has a really genuine neighborhood feel that’s hard to find. If you’re looking for a laid-back local bar to watch sports and meet good people, definitely give East Fax Tap a try.

“The food was amazing. Wine list was great. Very small, intimate setting for maybe 20 guests. The chef does everything, from greeting you when you walk in, taking your order, cooking your food, delivering your food and drinks and clearing the table. “I came here for the burger. I will be honest. But, once I walked in, I realized that I had had a great time previously after a concert at Mission. What a great little place this is (with a whole miniature golf course and a bunch of picnic tables in the back). First and foremost, Alex was my bartender, and the service was flawless...even while he was extremely busy when I first got there. Spot-on service throughout my visit, and he definitely elevated the visit. Good selection of cocktails, beers, and liquor, and great energy in the place. So, a cool place to hang out in general, but let me get to the burgers served there. Dalton's is the place, and it is a window inside the place. I went there because it was on Westword's Best Burger list, and I was NOT disappointed. You do you, but I got the double with fries and some kind of magical pimento cheese dip that worked beautifully with the fries. Cole was the guy who handled my order at the window, and was extremely efficient and nice. And, he was BUSY. If you are not looking for white tablecloths, and sit-down service, then this place is...absolutely perfect. You sort of need to have that constant internal yearning for finding dive bars like I do, but, again, you do you. I threw that burger on my top burgers list already, and definitely plan on trying it again soon. And, I can play some miniature golf next time. This place is awesome, and you should definitely drop in soon. I highly recommend this place overall, and DEFINITELY the burger too, and see you there...“

“This place is so awesome! Super dog friendly! Love that they have an off leash dog park on site. Inside is still dog friendly as well if it is too hot out. So glad that they make people show proof of rabies vaccine for the dogs so you know your dog is safe. Recommend registering your dog on their website so you don’t have to scramble to find your rabies vaccine records.
Super excellent selection of craft beers that always is changing. Love the sour beer selection especially.
I have been here dozens of times and will always go back. Their parties for their anniversary and other events are always off the hook and they go crazy with their decorations.
