Ordered a buy one get one for a dollar deal. So I thought. If you say “McDouble” instead of “double cheeseburger”, they will go ahead and charge you full price for both sandwiches. That is shady. I’m sure it is a practice pushed from corporate or the franchise owners to rip people off. Or a sly trick by employees who intend to pocket all the extra cash unaccounted for at the end of a shift.
