“Fort Collins finally has a legit dumpling spot.

Jing Dumpling Dimsum House is still pretty new, but you wouldn't know it from the food. The soup dumplings are the star — tender wrappers, plenty of broth inside, and really flavorful filling. The pork bao are also dangerously good, and the crab Rangoon might be some of the best I've had.

What surprised me was how fresh everything tasted. Even the simple vegetable dishes were crisp and flavorful instead of being drowned in sauce. Definitely save room for the Portuguese egg custard tarts too. Flaky, creamy, slightly caramelized on top — worth ordering even if you think you're full.

The restaurant itself is clean, modern and comfortable, and everyone working there was genuinely friendly. You can tell they're still getting into their rhythm since they're new, but the food is already there.

Fort Collins needed a place like this. I'll definitely be back to work my way through more of the menu.“
