The food was okay, nothing spectacular. The salsa, however, was horrible, it tasted like pure ketchup, and they apparently charge you for it since I ordered a $9 plate and the total came out to over $14. I've never been to any Mexican restaurant in the country that charged for chips and salsa.I don't actually regret going there for lunch. El Burrito will always have a special place in my heart, especially growing up here. I went there for lunch today and it was so yummy! Everyone was so nice. It's always a treat when we get to eat there. The smothered beef and bean burrito is my go to.
