The Morgan Library is a beautiful place, with a nice atmosphere overall. The lighting on the first and second floor has been improved, but the basement and third floor are quite dark due to many burned-out lights. Some areas, like the third-floor hallways, are especially dark. Despite the lighting issues, the staff is friendly, and the organization is good. The basement is described as a place where visitors can get lost among dusty volumes from eras past, with references to shadowy creatures. It is recommended for studying or getting lost in the atmosphere, but visitors should be prepared for the dimly lit areas.
