We usually come to Colorado once a year and I always want to get the Elk steak, last year we came and it was great and so we thought we would try it again this time, a little gun shy since we heard they had new owners, but we went and it was after 5 pm on Halloween , great service and great food, 2 different menus , nothing was said at all bout one being a lunch menu, nothing written on them either , but here is where it goes down hill, so we decided to go back a couple nights...read full review
We ordered multiple steaks - a filet, New York strip, porterhouse, KC loin, and a sirloin - the two one correctly cooked were the filet and the New York strip (both of which were cooked to a more done liking). The porterhouse was ordered medium and came out more medium well and was chewy and poorly seasoned and charred on the sides. The KC loin was dry and chewy and was ordered medium rare but was medium.
