First time I tried the shrimp and I have to say it was better than some of the shrimp I've had at Red Lobster. The burgers were grilled to perfection & cheesy. “I ate the LJS. It's not fresh fish and chicken people. It is tough and chewy chicken that's clearly been frozen, thawed, refrozen and cooked a few times, shrimp that's so rubbery that you can play basketball with it and fish that is pretty bland and weirdly tough. The Hushpuppies were so cold I feel like they were set on the counter to reach thawing temperature then popped in the microwave to heat then let cool and reheated. I would have appreciated some of any of the food to have a temperature above that of the room but hey, who expects that from overly expensive flash frozen fried food?

Ok here is the scoop on this restaurant.

I have been going to Taco John's since I was a freshman in high school. Worked there until my senior year. (Golden CO)
I can clearly say the speed of service in this restaurant is unmatched. Pretty impressive that they are bringing out your food to the table before you get your drinks filled up.
This restaurant gives you the traditional Taco John's taste and atmosphere. It is a very clean fast food restaurant just needs to be a bit brighter in the dinning area.
Typical Taco John's prices. Might not have the lowest price in town but it's still worth getting your Taco Bravo on ?
If there is one true negative about this restaurant it would be the customer care representative taking our order. She is a lady of advanced years and seems like she is riding the angry struggle bus. Hopefully she can find a coke and a smile. That would make ordering our food so much easier.
With that being said. This Taco John's is definitely a good place to have taco time
