“This place is a hidden gem! I had no idea there was a panaderia so close to me. Being from Texas, I missed the authentic Mexican bakeries we had around every corner and this definitely holds up. We got Conchas, empanadas, and candy. Everything was absolutely delicious and fresh. The prices were insanely reasonable as well. We will come back often. Please try this place out. “I am so hard to satisfy when it comes to cakes, grocery cakes are no good, and majority of private bakers mediocre, I love to bake myself so I can enjoy sweet goods, but baking good cakes from scratch takes a lot of time ?️ and kitchen mess, who has time for that, when you have kids and full time work. “My wife and I took a cooking class with Brett and Melissa at Cains Creative Cakes last week and had a fantastic experience! Brett led the class and took us through a tasty recipe he came up with for a unique take on chicken piccata. We had a great time chatting with him and Melissa the whole time we cooked and before we knew it our meal was ready. The food was delicious and there was A LOT of it. My wife and I both couldn't believe how much we ate but it was just so good! Somehow we managed to save a little room for dessert- which Melissa treated us to after our meal. It was a lemon vanilla cake and although lemon flavored desserts aren't usually my favorite this one was something special! It was one of the softest cakes I've ever eaten and the frosting was delicious. If I ever need a cake made I know where I'm going! When we said our thank yous and goodbyes Melissa made sure to send us home with a few more pieces of cake wrapped up so we didn't leave empty handed. Overall, we had so much fun and are so glad we found Brett and Melissa. We wanted to do something more interesting than the usual date night out at a restaurant and they gave us a truly unique and very fun experience! 10/10 would recommend!“

“For my mom's birthday, I ordered her a spring fling cake. My mom is not a fan of cream cheese or whipped cream or most types of frosting/icing, so I asked for the cream cheese frosting to be replaced with something else like chocolate ganache or chocolate mousse, which they did without issue. When I picked up the cake, I was informed it was the first time they'd made a spring fling cake with chocolate mousse but you honestly wouldn't have been able to tell because the cake looked so pretty and was so delicious. Although I love chocolate, I usually don't eat chocolate mousse because of its thin texture but this one was great- thicker and denser than the regular stuff I've had. The top and inside of the cake was full of fresh fruit and the zucchini cake was fabulous paired with the mousse. Everyone loved the cake, most importantly my mom. I would definitely recommend Lala's Bakery and we're looking forward to trying some of the other cakes as well!*I can't seem to post a picture but I would love to show great the cake was.“

John, the owner, stepped up to save the day after another bakery canceled last minute on a birthday cake I had ordered. With less than 24 hour notice, during a peek rush and on a weekend at that, I could not have been more pleased with what he put together for me. After explaining my situation and that it was for my partners 35th birthday party that was a little gay, little disco, little cowboy, I didn't expect anything more than an icing piped "Happy Birthday". Picture attached because he knocked it out of the park and words don't do it justice. Not only did the cake live up to the party theme (and then some) it was DELICIOUS and when he quoted me the price I couldn't believe how affordable it was.
