“We have been coming here for almost 5 years and we can’t rave more about the food and service! The staff is always attentive, kind and friendly. We had an uncomfortable situation recently. we have two kids under 4. We recently were there when a guy was very vocal about being frustrated that a family was at a bar. Tara immediately jumped in to educate him that yes it’s a bar but also a family restaurant. They are always accommodating and make us feel comfortable. This place has amazing service, food, staff and is a staple in our neighborhood.“

“TEN STARS! Had our wedding there Memorial Day weekend. Can't speak highly enough of Scott, Steve and Kris. Scott was there the actual night of and made it the best night of our lives. Great venue, AMAZING FOOD, almost 40 beer on tap, and great atmosphere. Had a very large wedding, the buffets went so smoothly. They just have everything set up perfectly and have their focus on the fun parts of a wedding. Would do ten times over and recommend to anyone. Also- tap room and restaurant in general has amazing food, service and drink. Patio is beautiful and so and nice and they have live music sometimes.“

“This is a great place for happy hour. We often meet work friends here around 4 pm. I enjoy the appetizers, the drinks and the burgers. I wouldn't go here just for Mexican food. This place is large and had a fantastic patio in the summer. I also think the location is pretty good. I live west, but when meeting friends who live south, it works pretty great.“

“Great old neighborhood bar! Not even a hint of chain restaurants! Near Ft Logan, so it became a gathering spot for family ahead of a weekday service there.

The simple menu is well executed, and I had the Colorado Sunrise burger cooked to a perfect medium rare. Very tasty!! The whole crew of 13 enjoyed their food, and the staff gave us great service right through our surprise early rush.“

They get some of the best bands here and the food is amazing for a bar. Drinks are reasonably priced and usually plenty of seating if you get there before the band starts. “Happy St. Patrick's Day! We came to our local spot to celebrate. Our day bartender was Rachael, & for some reason, the company only scheduled her to bartend on one of the biggest drinking days of the year. But! She killed it! She's one of the hardest working bartenders we've seen! She's always cheerful & kind, always remembers orders & always gives great service, even when very busy. It was a circus in there today, & she never stopped!At night, Shannon was a joy to see! Shannon is also an excellent bartender. Both women are major reasons why we've been coming to the Hound for years. Excellent day!“

“What are the odds that we visit from Iowa on business and our waitress, Allison also is from Iowa! She was absolutely wonderful, funny and so attentive! The food was wonderful, very large portions, appropriately priced and tasted delicious. The view was really good despite the smoke fading out the mountains. The ViewHouse was such a wonderful and fun atmosphere, highly recommend!“

“I used to live in this area over 20 years ago. Back then, this place was "THE Place" to go after a long day at work. For me, It was exciting to see this long time Established neighborhood staple Still Open!! The sentimental nostalgia mixed with curiosity lured me in. It was around 10 pm on a weekend evening, at about half capacity, it felt as if i was among mostly regulars, the Pool Tables were all occupied, the beer was ICE? cold!???The Bartender was friendly, very aware, and professional! ?‍??Prices were what is expected in today's market. I would come back for the service alone!? If you're in the neighborhood stop in for a cold one! I will always choose to support my local small businesses first when i have a choice.“
