The building is on the historic registry. The rooms are wonderful and spacious. The staff has been fantastic.
Cute self pour taproom in Keystone Village near the big ice skating pond. We stopped by later in the afternoon and it wasn’t busy so we easily found a seat. They had plenty of beers, some wine and a few premixed cocktails on tap. The only thing to mention is that the bartender who would get you a card for the tap and check you out wasn’t really around so you had to wait awhile if you needed him. Luckily we weren’t in a hurry. They also rented ice skates in this building.
Rathbone Taproom is a charming and spacious place located in Keystone Village, offering a relaxing environment with pretty views of the lake, paddle boats, boards, geese, ducks, and fish. The large room is perfect for families, especially kids, who can run around and play games while parents enjoy drinks and snacks available upstairs. The taproom features a self pour system with a good selection of beers, some wine, and premixed cocktails on tap. Ice skating and hockey are available in the winter, and ice skates can be rented in the building. Visitors have praised the staff for being welcoming and accommodating, especially during special occasions like weddings, where staff go out of their way to make guests feel comfortable. While service can sometimes take a little longer due to staff availability, the overall experience is positive. Rathbone Taproom is highly recommended for its friendly atmosphere, beautiful lake views, and versatility, making it a great spot for both relaxation and celebrations.
