Nice guy working the counter, but mediocre donuts and bad coffee. Too bad.Tip: Offer at least one premium coffee option and try to find a way to keep the donuts from hardening in the first 15 minutes of being open.
While on the Southwest Chief, a friend suggested we pick up donuts at the La Junta and also buy some for the crew. We ordered ahead from the train and my wife ran across the Main Street where they were waiting for us. Great donuts that were fresh and delicious. The crew enjoyed them too.

Passing through on the way to Dodge City. Doughnuts are our thing on Road-trips so we stopped. Nice lady, clean restroom and great doughnuts. We bought three cake and an Apple fritter. All fresh and tasty!
