We were sad when the Lohi location closed a few seasons back, so we decided to take a drive up north to try this location. The ambiance of the restaurant was cute, though loud, which made conversation difficult. We were really looking forward to enjoying some of our old favorites, like the fried half bird, chicken tenders, mashed potatoes and collard greens. Love this place. Moved to Missouri 10 years ago and a visit to The Post is a priority every year when we come back to visit family. Best gluten free chicken I've ever found and my husband who doesn't have to eat gluten free loves it too.
When you are a well established place like The Post, it's good to have a location where there is, you know, parking. Even on a slow hour on the weekend, it was a headache to get into here.
However, once you do, you have a pretty solid place to eat, plenty of seating. And they have cornhole in the back, a true brewery staple! Once you get your order in, you do have to wait a bit, but it does come out hot.

The Post Brewing Company Lafayette is great food and a great atmosphere. We love the chicken, fried chicken and biscuits, and the spicy orange chicken rice bowl, some find the bowl bland, dry and no sauce. The chicken pot pies have an unusual Mediterranean flavor and could be improved with peas. The staff and service are wonderful, friendly, personable and extra special, Made sure we were taken care of. The restaurant is praised for catering brunch birthday parties and for miscommunication with care. The front counter could be a bit more friendly, but the location is awesome and great.
