The staff was so friendly and all our food tasted great. We bought a variety of things but the apple fritter was my favorite. Also, Frodo is adorable.
We were in lake city July 2022- we spent 5 days there hiking 14ers- I bet we ate at lake city bakery at least 10 times! Everything we ate was delicious - my favorites were the kolaches and the fruit pies. And those bread sandwiches can’t recall what they were called- just delicious.
We are from Texas and have been coming here for years and have told people to stop by for years…20+. We stopped by yesterday and both the owner and the kid working behind the counter were very rude. They didn’t want to sell us anything. Now we had 3 families together and would have spent over $300 on baked goods and we were willing to wait. No…they acted put out and annoyed that we were there.
