Discovered this great restaurant when I used to work at the DMV in Lakewood over 10 years ago. I'm from Texas so I'm picky about my Mexican food, but Max's is great! My husband and I have no problem traveling from our home near Lowry out to Lakewood to eat at Max's. I meet old coworkers there for lunch as well. I highly recommend it!Vegetarian options: Veggie breakfast burrito smothered with cheese is great
