Fantastic food and friendly service! We’ll definitely stop by again when we’re in the area. My husband loved the chicken fried chicken, and the Mexican BLT was excellent — though be warned, the jalapeño packs some real heat! The owner knows many of the regulars, which gives the place a warm, welcoming, homey feel. Highly recommended.

We were so surprised to find this gem in Lamar. We had a group of five with 5 different breakfast orders. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. The owner and servers were very friendly and efficient. We will definitely eat there again when passing through Lamar!

An absolutely wonderful restaurant. Wonderful family atmosphere run by an wonderful family. All there food is fresh and handmade including the sausage. As you can see I had the biscuits and sausage gravey platter, I ate the eggs and took half of the rest home. The biscuits were huge, light, and fluffy. Spoke with one of the owners and he said his wife makes everything fresh from scratch wish all fresh ingredients and you can taste the love.. He also said one of the signature dishes is Chicken fried steak, they hand pound the steak, bread it and fry it and it is as big as the plate. If you are traveling in a camper or a big rig you can park either on the side street or on the street behind the restaurant. The long rig parking is in the second to the last photo. When you are looking for this place look for the flags that say BREAKFAST, this is literally an old house facing Main St.

Awesome breakfast at this family owned business. First the chicken fried steak was the BEST I have ever had; and we’re from Texas so we take pride in that dish but AM’s is way better. Our server, who was also the owner, came by to bring us a sample of their green chile and it was so good my hubs put it all over his eggs and gobbled it up! This restaurant is in an old house and it is charming, and right now it is decked out for Halloween. The husband does front of the house, his wife does the cooking, and the kids help out. Such a wonderful overall experience. Thank you AM!
