We are driving from Texas to Colorado, this is a new route for us and first time coming through Lamar. I am so glad I found this place to go and have breakfast. Service was great, everyone is friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and really enjoyed their home made chorizo. Would recommend and would definitely come back if I am passing by.

Absolutely excellent!!! We got the huevos rancheros with chorizo, which was spicy perfect! The chorizo especially with the green salsa was so good! We also got the eggy bread with blueberries, it was cooked to perfection. Fluffy, and they did not skimp on the blueberries. So glad we stopped here on our road trip! Definitely take the time to try breakfast at this little local gem!

Very nice hometown atmosphere. The people are very friendly and the food was delicious. I had breakfast there while traveling through Lamar and I definitely recommend it. It seems to be a very popular place and was a tad crowded at breakfast hour, but it was well worth it.

We found out these people that own this restaurant and their workers are trapping the feral cats and causing harm to them by unaliving them after they have been caught. ,they have made it very clear to others and the people that are trying to rescue the cats,that they dont want them around ,& will continue to trap them all until they can get them ,the cat rescue team have ran into the owners and ,the owners watched the people try to rescure them and the owners started an argument wuth the team ,that was so heated the cops were called ,& the owners let the officers know they were trapping them and have disposed of some of them ,and did not elaborate on what that meant ,before the bank tears down the building the cats have been using for shelter ,we all are trying to rescue and relocate the cats , We understand you have a restaurant business to run .But those cats were there first .and to trap an animal the way they have done is a form of animal cruelty,the ladt cat we found in their TRAP was obviously left in the trap for days its ribs are showing and its tip of its tail was ripped off from the cage trap door ,it was obviously in there fir a long time ! If this is a restaurant you want to continue to support ,when their goal in life is to cause HARM upon an animal just because they have a business that is right next to the feral cats habitat, We will be reporting to the proper authorities today and give them the pictures and video we have of what we have witness ,and I hope this restaurant gets recognized as people that are willing to abuse torture and even kill an animal just so its business can flourish,the hate the have for the innocent of an animal who was there first is showing in their actions!

What a wonderful experience from start to finish. The service was excellent and every staff member was genuinely friendly and welcoming. I even had the chance to meet the owners, who shared their vision and the care they put into how they run the restaurant—and it truly shows. I ordered breakfast and had the 55+ meal with French toast, sausage, and an egg. Everything was delicious. The egg was cooked perfectly, and the homemade sausage was outstanding—so flavorful and clearly made with care. I travel for work, and it can be hard to find a restaurant that really stands out, but this one absolutely did. I truly enjoyed my time here and will definitely be back again while in the area.

Stopped here on our drive from Texas to Colorado and so glad we did! The building looks like a giant White House, which gave the warmest home feeling. The brunch was amazing; unique pancakes, French toast, and waffles that were all delicious. Great food, fun atmosphere, and a total must-stop. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip through Colorado!
